A CCTV image has been released of missing man Brian Hamill as family and friends remain extremely concerned for his welfare. 

Police released the images showing Brian leaving St Enoch's Subway Station in the city centre yesterday morning at around 10.15am. 

He was then seen walking in the direction of Broomielaw.

Inspector Graeme Hogg of Partick Police station said: "We remain extremely concerned for Brian's wellbeing and extensive police enquiries are ongoing in an effort to locate him.

"Our enquiries suggest Brian has travelled into the city centre from his home address on Monday as he was last seen there around 5.30am but his subsequent movements are unknown so I would urge anyone who may have seen him to contact us urgently.

”Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 2969 of May 10, 2021."

Brian is described as being 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with short, fair hair.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, black boots and a khaki jacket. He was also carrying a black rucksack. 

He also has connections to the Kinghorn area in Fife where he could have been intending to travel.
