A POWER CUT is currently affecting an area in South Glasgow.
Workers are aiming to resolve the problem, which stuck the G51 postcode earlier this afternoon.
Scottish Power engineers are currently at the site and are planning to have the community reconnected by 2.30pm.
The company has apologised to customers affected by the outage.

An update is expected to be provided by the firm later on.
A statement reads: "There is a power cut affecting the G51 postcode area of Glasgow.
"We had no advance warning of this and only became aware of it at 12.19pm.
"Our control centre will attempt to reset the network remotely to restore power in stages, and we will also send our next available engineer to attend site.
"Our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible by 2.30pm.
"Once they arrive, or when we receive any update regarding the cause, we will be able to provide you with more information.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
