YESTERDAY'S protest against an immigration enforcement action by the UK Home Office has made headlines worldwide.
Pollokshields residents were shocked to see the protest on CBS This Morning in the USA.
Strathbungo resident Courtney Weisell, who is originally from Dallas, Texas shared her delight at seeing events unfolding across the world. She said: "It's truly such a proud feeling. I’m in a unique position being an American living in Glasgow and it was incredible to see my current home city recognized in my birth home city."
"It makes me all the more proud to call Glasgow my home and be part of this community."
