Two women were assaulted in Coatbridge following Rangers title victory celebrations.
The victim was attacked by a young woman wearing a Rangers flag at around 7.30pm on Saturday, May 15 at Sunnyside Station.
The attack caused severe leg injuries which the victim is being treated for in hospital.
The victim's friend who attempted to help her was also assaulted by the same woman.
British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for information following an assault in Coatbridge.
BTP described the suspect as a white female, aged between 17 and 20 years old with a heavy build and dark hair.

She was wearing a Rangers flag around her neck and black trousers and was also in the company of another woman.
Detectives are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as it is believed that there were several people at the station at the time of the assault.
