Chris Sutton has promised to run naked around Norwich if Rangers win the Champions League next season.

The Celtic hero made the claim after a caller on BBC 5 Live predicted Steven Gerrard's men would enjoy European success in the big leagues next term.

During the same call the apparent clairvoyant claimed interim Tottenham boss Ryan Mason would be the club's most successful manager of all time.

But Sutton, and host Robbie Savage, could not get passed when the caller said: "Steven Gerrard has a job to do at Rangers and will win the UEFA Champions League next season."

The former Hoops striker laughed: "Wow. That air in Wales is amazing. If Ryan Mason is the best Spurs manager of all time and Steven Gerrard wins the Champions League with Rangers I would eat numerous hats.

"I would run around Norwich naked. It’s just not going to happen."

Gers destroyed their competition in the Premiership this season, winning the title at a canter with a whopping 25 points.
