A NEW Poundland store is opening in Airdrie.
The retailer is making a return to the North Lanarkshire town with this new store which opens at 9 am on Saturday.
It will be located on 31 Graham Street in the former Peacocks site and will employ 15 people.

Poundland retail and transformation director, Austin Cooke, said: “It’s great news that we’ve been able to find a new location in Airdrie and we can’t wait to welcome back customers who’ve been missing us.
“North Lanarkshire is an area we know well and the new Airdrie store complements our stores at Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Motherwell and Wishaw.”
