A62 foot tower crane has been put in place to take a housing development to the next stage in the Finnieston area.
Glasgow West Housing Association, is building the development which includes a commercial unit, and 55 flats for social rent.
Work started in January and is expected to take two years to complete.
Foundation and drainage work is nearing completion and the next phase of construction in about to get underway.
The tower crane will support the work to put in place the steel superstructure, precast concrete slabs, and roof as the building will start to take shape.
The crane sited between Dover Street and St Vincent Streetcan be seen from around the west of the city.
