TRIBUTES have been placed at the spot where a young man tragically died after falling from a flat in the city's Merchant City.

Flowers with messages of condolences lay close to the block of flats at the corner of Hutcheson Street and Ingram Street following the incident on Sunday.

We previously reported that a police investigation had been launched after officers were called to a report of a man having fallen from a seventh-floor window on Sunday at around 10.15 pm.
