A WOMAN was found dead in a Glasgow flat yesterday evening.
Emergency services arrived at the property on West Princes Street in Woodlands at around 5.15pm yesterday.
Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem will be undertaken to confirm the cause of her death.
The area is still cordoned off and it is understood police have still been conducting door-to-door enquiries this morning.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Officers are investigating following the sudden death of a woman who was found dead within a property in West Princes Street, Glasgow, at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, 1 June.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish the full circumstances."
