CELTIC Football Club is looking for a new staff member.

The full-time “buyer” job role is advertised as temporary maternity cover, and the new employee will join the retail head office at Celtic Park.

As part of the job, the applicant will liaise with the marketing department regarding promotions, social media, product placement through Celtic TV and photo shoots for advertising material and online images, as well as planning, selecting and developing new products across several categories according to the department needs and within the required budget.

The football club are looking for someone with at least two years’ experience within a buyer or assistant buyer role, and someone with a self-motivated and pro-active attitude.

Meanwhile, a soft play centre based in Pollokshields is looking for a new assistant manager.

Wonder World is keen to fill the full-time and permanent role, and the successful applicant will be given full training.

Varied working hours including evenings and weekend, and over-time may be required.

In the job role posted on the S1 Jobs website, it states that key responsibilities include ensuring the safe operation of the site, maintaining standards of both equipment and buildings, implementing health and safety procedures, team development, delivering outstanding customer service, and promoting the venue through social media.
