TWO men are due in court today after an alleged robbery in the city's Maryhill.

Police said that they arrested and charged the men - aged 30 and 40 - following the incident which took place on Fingal Street at around 12.45 pm on Monday.

They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm that two men, aged 30 and 40, have been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery, which took place on Fingal Street, Glasgow, around 12.45 pm on Monday, June 7.

"They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today, Tuesday, June 8.”
