STILL Game icon Gavin Mitchell has received his second shot of the coronavirus vaccine - and compared the moment to the hit comedy's run at the Hydro.

The 56-year-old, who is famed for playing Boaby the Barman in the hit BBC series, took to the social media website Twitter today to tell fans he had received his second jab of the vaccine.

Mitchell, who also played Callum McIntyre in Monarch of the Glen, posed for a selfie outside the city's Hydro before saying: "51 times I’ve played here and that was by far the quickest, easiest, and least stressful performance of them all! Second vaccine done! Thank you NHS."
