POLICE have issued an appeal to trace a man they believe could assist them in their investigation of a serious assault at Buchanan Street subway station last month.
A man was assaulted at the north entrance of the city centre subway station on Saturday May, 15 at 8.30pm.
The British Transport Police have now released an image of a man they believe could help them in their investigation into the incident.
He is described as white, in his 30s, of slim build with short dark hair and wearing a mid-length brown camel coloured coat, white shirt and blue jeans.

A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: "At the time of the incident the city centre and station were extremely busy. Officers appeal to the man, anyone who recognises the man, or anyone who has any information in relation to the incident to come forward.
"Witnesses or anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 214 of 15/05/21.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
