A YOUNG woman was raped in the city centre last night as cops launched a hunt to find the vile beast responsible.
The 21-year-old woman was subjected to the horrific attack shortly after midnight today in Sauchiehall Street.

Police are now hunting the man behind the sick act.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "We are investigating a report of the serious sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman which took place just after midnight last night in the vicinity of Sauchiehall Street and Sauchiehall Lane.
"Enquiries are at an early stage however, anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting reference number 0250 of Wednesday, June 9."
