A 9-year-old girl was knocked down earlier this afternoon, as police closed off a Larkhall road.
The incident on Hareleeshill Road, which took place at around 3.30pm, saw the young girl involved in a crash.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her condition is currently unknown.

First Bus announced that their 251 services would be diverted to Larkhall via Hareleeshill Road, Keir Hardie Road and Machlan Road, and to Wishaw via Machlan Road and Keir Hardie Road.

Police have confirmed that the road, which had been closed, has now been reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Hareleeshill Road, Larkhall around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 9 June, following a crash involving a 9-year-old pedestrian. She has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The road was closed for a short time and has since reopened.”
