WEST Scotland MSP Jamie Greene is backing a Greenock & District Scouts recruitment drive following a reduction in volunteers and members during the pandemic.
Across the region the Scouts have seen a 29 per cent drop in youth members, as well as a 16 per cent decline in volunteer ranks.
Mr Greene said: "The Scouts have played a huge role in the lives of thousands of young people across Inverclyde over the years and I’m delighted to promote their recruitment campaign."
