FOUR Inverclyde organisations have joined forces to encourage community action in the run-up to the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow later this year.
The Beacon Arts Centre, Belville Community Garden, RIG Arts and Inverclyde Libraries are to form a 'Climate Beacon' - a hub where people can explore how climate change affects Inverclyde.
Pauline Kane of the arts centre said: "We are thrilled to be working with a wide range of cultural and environmental organisations to deliver an exciting programme of activities on climate change.
"Inverclyde’s Climate Beacon will focus on education, awareness and participation with help from people in our communities."
