Harry Redknapp has described Scotland's Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson as two of the world's best left-backs.

But the former Tottenham Hotspur manager was quickly reminded by legendary striker Michael Owen that Scotland's main issue ahead of Euro 2020 is that their two best players play in the same position.

Speaking ahead of the tournament's kick-off this evening the pair were discussing potential dark horses for winner. And when Redknapp brought up Scotland's chances, Owen responded: "Are you joking?"

It was then, for BetVictor, Redknapp reminded Owen: "They've got the two best left-backs in the world," to which the ex-Real Madrid and Liverpool hitman replied: "That's the problem, they've got their two best players playing in the same position."

But the 74-year-old boss is obviously a big fan and admitted: "You'd have them two anywhere (in the world)."

Scotland kick off their Euros against Czech Republic on Monday at Hampden Park.
