COMMUNITY organisation, South Seeds, have appealed to South Siders for their ideas to improve vacant spaces.
The group, who work to help promote sustainability practices in the South Side, are calling on people to get in touch with the idea of how to temporarily transform empty spaces such as backcourts and green spaces.
Southside Central Councillor, Soryia Siddique, said: "I recently met with local residents in Southside Central, listening to their challenges and aspirations for their backcourts, lanes and green spaces.
"Lockdown living appears to have increased the interest for maximising and enhancing possible community use of green spaces. South Seeds are asking local communities to contact them with ideas for vacant or underused spaces.
"Residents are also welcome to contact me with their ideas and asks, I will work with them to achieve their possible aspirations."
Ideas can be sent to info@southseeds.org before the deadline of June 30.
