A TEENAGE boy has tragically died after getting into difficulty in the River Clyde.

Emergency services raced to the water, near Garrion Bridge in Larkhall, yesterday afternoon. 

A 13-year-old boy died.

Cops say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. 

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "A 13-year-old boy has died after getting into difficulty in the River Clyde, near Garrion Bridge in Larkhall.

"Emergency services were contacted around 3.15pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
