Dr Mark Russell, Lead for the Covid-19 vaccination programme in Lanarkshire, said: “We would encourage anyone who has waited 12 weeks or more since their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and who has not yet received an appointment for their second dose, to come along to one of our drop-in clinics.

"Receiving both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine is really important as it provides long-lasting protection.”
