Man arrested after fleeing cops and abandoning car in Cowcaddens
POLICE have arrested a man after he fled cops and abandoned his car in Cowcaddens.
A police cordon was spotted on New City Road earlier this afternoon, with a large presence by officers also spotted.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.15pm on Tuesday, 15 June, a car failed to stop when signalled to by police on the M77 northbound near junction 1.

“Officers pursued the vehicle which was abandoned in the New City Road area of Glasgow.
“A man was arrested nearby and enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances.”
