AN INVESTIGATION into the death of a man in Cumbernauld is ongoing. 

Officers were called following a concern for a person call by a member of the public last week.

On arrival, cops found a 30-year-old man's body within a property on Springfield Road.

Police are treating the death as unexplained and have revealed that enquiries are still ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to a property on Springfield Road in Cumbernauld around 11pm on Wednesday 9 June following a concern for person call by a member of the public.

"On arrival, officers found the body of a 30-year-old man within.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
