Always game, Capaldi just about obliged, flashing the crowd a glimpse of his belly.

Punters then broke into a rendition of his hit song Someone You Loved.

The singer was pounced on by Si Ferry and the Open Goal team in the Record Factory yesterday.

Former Rangers stars Kevin Kyle and Andy Halliday, ex-Celtic player Frank McAvennie, and Ferry's co-host Paul Slane were also there as they quizzed Capaldi on football.
