Police lock down Glasgow street after woman becomes unwell
A WOMAN has taken unwell in Riddrie prompting a large police response.
The area around Gartcraig Sorting Office has been locked down with eyewitnesses reporting police officers and helicopters are on the scene and the area is taped off.
Police have been on the scene at Gogar Street from around 2pm this afternoon after an ambulance was called shortly before 1.20pm.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland told Glasgow Live: “Around 2.05pm on Monday, 21 June, officers were called to a report of a woman taken unwell on Gogar Street, Glasgow.
"Police are currently at the scene."
