A WOMAN was tragically found dead in the street after cops locked down the surrounding area.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Riddrie yesterday afternoon after the 42-year-old was reported to have taken ill.

She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is being treated as unexplained but police said there is not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her passing.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Around 2.05pm on Monday, June 21, officers were called to a report of a woman taken unwell on Gogar Street, Glasgow.
The 42-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is currently being treated as unexplained, however, there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”
