A MAN has been spotted acting suspiciously by allegedly knocking on doors and entering a property to steal items.
The man was alleged to have been asking householders for a drink of water or vehicle fluid in the Foxbar area of Paisley.
At one house, he allegedly entered the property when the resident was distracted and stole some items.
Local cops received reports yesterday at around 3.30pm and are now appealing for any witnesses who may have information.
Inspector Tracy Harkins from Paisley's community police team said: ‘This is very concerning behaviour due to the fact that two of the potential victims were elderly residents’. The male is described as medium/stalky build, thinning hair and was wearing a beige hoody and red trackies or jeans.
