COPS chased a motor from the city centre to the East End yesterday afternoon resulting in the arrest of two men. 

The pair, aged 25 and 26, are due in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court today after being charged over the incident.

They gave chase from Cathedral Street in Townhead through the East End until they finally stopped in Mossvale Road.

Police said they failed to stop when asked in the city centre at around 1.25pm.

A police spokeswoman said: "At around 1.25pm on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, a car failed to stop when signalled to by police on Cathedral Street in Glasgow.

“Officers pursued the vehicle which was stopped near Mossvale Road. Two men, aged 25 and 26, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.”
