Good news for all you city centre bar hoppers as popular Bath Street venue Moskito announces it’s reopening on July 1.

Expect the unexpected however as, following a major refurb, this new version of this Glasgow favourite is like nothing you’ve seen before.

Glasgow Times:

Gone are the shabby chic wooden interiors we once knew, under new ownership Moskito has been transformed into a sleek and ultra-modern space. Think neon lighting, bold artwork and plush velvet booths, the new décor is irresistibly cool.

General manager Ben McLeod said: “There is a huge gap in the market for a cool city centre late-night venue that isn't a traditional night club, this is where Moskito Bar & Kitchen will really come into its own”

Glasgow Times:

“We want to become a venue where people will stay from day to night and can effortlessly transition from a dinner venue to a place to dance, relax and really enjoy themselves”

Glasgow Times:

Fresh and food and drink menu might just tempt you to do just that. Boasting 'Bombay Negronis and Citrus infused Margaritas' as well as a 'unique tandoori fire oven in the heart of the kitchen creating delicious speciality smoked dishes such as Tandoori Tiger Prawns' it appears the new team behind Moskito are truly going all out to create a bespoke experience.

Glasgow Times:

Those of us longing to experience some live music post-lockdown can look forward to the return resident Moskito DJ Dominic Martin, as well up and coming talent DJ Jay Celino who has previously supported big names like Jack Master and Jasper James. This 'carefully curated music collective' is sure to give the space that bar/club hybrid feel.

Glasgow Times:

It’s an exciting new chapter for the venue which promises to 'put city centre dining and drinking back on the map.'

We’re counting down the days.
