DRIVERS are being warned to prepare for delays to travel after Glasgow City Council announced carriageway resurfacing works to busy city streets.
Works are set to take place Byres Road in the West End this weekend, with temporary restrictions in place.
Beginning on Saturday June, 26th, Byres Road will be closed for southbound traffic between Highburgh Road and Lawrence Street and between Dumbarton Road and Torness Street from 8.00am until 4.00pm.

The works, which will also take place on Sunday and Monday from 9.30pm until 3.30pm, will see traffic on Dumbarton Road operating in an east to west direction only at the Byres Road junction.
Coopers Well Street will also be closed between Dumbarton Road and Benalder Street.
Temporary diversions will be put in place and sign-posted to drivers, but those travelling are being told to expect delays.
