A PERSON has been hit by a train outside Glasgow.
The incident occurred between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal this afternoon.
Their condition is not yet known.

Services between the two station have been cancelled and those travelling to Paisley have been advised to use Gilmour Street station instead.
Mosspark, Crookston, Hawkhead and Paisley Canal aren't being served at this time, ScotRail has confirmed.
Ticket acceptance is in place on number 38 and 38A McGill's buses.
Police Scotland was approached for further comment.
