COPS have seized over £32k in cocaine and cannabis after two early morning swoops on properties in North and South Lanarkshire.

At around 8.30am on Wednesday, police raided a property on Braeside Place in Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire where they recovered cocaine worth around £2,200. Officers also found around £6000 in cash.

A 27-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were arrested and charged. They will apeear in court at a later date.

Cops then busted a second property in Linnhe Crescent in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire at around 11.55am where £30,000 worth of cannabis was discovered. 

Two men aged 24 and 40 were arrested and charged in connection with drug offences. They will appear in Airdrie Sheriff Court today.
