A CYCLING charity with a base in North Glasgow is asking the community to help keep their “track alive”.
Due to the pandemic, Free Wheel North has lost more than 75 per cent of its funding that is normally generated by the cycling track at Glasgow Green.
The White House in Maryhill is the charity’s second centre which operates as a community hub, café and bike shop with regular community bike rides.
In a statement on a fundraising page, bosses wrote: “The last year has been an incredibly tough one for everyone. Free Wheel North desperately needs your help to keep peddling!
"If you have ever used our facility you will know just how much of a difference it makes to the lives of the people who use it and to the lives of the people around them. Please help keep the track alive!”
