RESIDENTS of Maryhill are being encouraged to vote on a new flag for the area.
Last year, a competition was launched by Maryhill Burgh Halls, that invited individuals, community groups and schools to design a community flag.
The project, dubbed “A Flag for Maryhill”, has brought the community together to reflect on its shared history and look to its future.
A judging panel has selected the five top submissions and its now up to the public to have their say.
Visit Maryhill Burgh Halls to vote for your favourite between July 5 and August 16 (Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm).
Tickets are free, but must be booked in advance over the phone (0141 948 0700) or by email: info@mbht.org.uk.
Voting will also be open on Maryhill Burgh Hall’s Facebook account from July 5.
