SOUTH Side dentists have come together to help local refugee groups.
Dentistry group, Dental Scotland, have launched 'Project Smile', which will see two Glasgow practices advocate for better oral health in refugee and asylum seeker communities.
As part of the Dental Scotland group, Dental Surgery Limited at 461 Victoria Road will take part in the scheme, as well as Eglinton Dental Care at 4 Maxwell Road.
Information will be given out on what refugee and asylum seeker communities are entitled to in regards to dental health.
Children will also be given a toothbrush and taught the importance of regular dental check-ups.
People will be able to drop into either surgery from today until Thursday July, 8.
Dental Scotland say that they hope that Project Smile "will continue to encourage inclusion and diversity."
