CELEBRATIONS erupted across Glasgow last night to celebrate Italy's Euro 2020 win over England.

Roberto Mancini's men clinched the title in a nail-biting final that saw the side win 3-2 in penalties at Wembley Stadium.

England fans were left devastated by their loss but Scotland fans cheered on the Italians against their oldest football rivals.

Revellers took to George Square to celebrate by singing and waving Italian flags.

A crowd also gathered at the entrance of Queen's Park to celebrate the auld enemy's defeat.

Fans who had gathered in Glasgow's fanzone to watch the match were turned away before they could see the trophy being lifted as their licence did not allow them to stay open after 11pm.

Glasgow has a large Scots-Italian community and many businesses were decked out in green, red and white yesterday.
