POTENTIALLY hundreds of homes and businesses in the city's West End have been affected by a power cut this afternoon.
Properties in Park Circus, Hyndland, and Kelvindale are among those understood to have been impacted by a fault in the G3 postcode area.
Scottish Power engineers are currently on site and working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.
An update from the energy provider read: There is a power cut in the G3 postcode area of Glasgow.
"We had no advance warning of this and only became aware of it at 1:33pm. Our engineers have arrived on site and are investigating the cause of the fault.
"Our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible by 4:45pm.
"We will update this message if this information changes. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
