Glasgow has always been known as one of the friendliest places in the UK but in a new study, city rivals Edinburgh taken the title.
In a brand new study by Parkdean Resorts, the east coast capital has taken the top spot, with Glasgow ranking 4th out of 50 UK towns and cities.
The study measured factors such as the happiness of residents, safety in the area, the number of local businesses, community activities and the number of Facebook groups and pages dedicated to the area.

With an average score combining all factors, Glasgow placed fourth with 338 and Edinburgh came out on top with 360.
