THE West End is bursting with options for weekend revellers looking to delight in some of the city's best cocktail spots.

With Covid restrictions soon to ease and alcohol license curfews to be extended, you might want to plan your weekend and get booked in at one of the area's best cocktail bars.
Here are some of our recommendations...
1. Embargo
At the bottom end of Byres Road, Embargo is a tropical spot that offers up Asian-inspired drinks and street food.
From Vietnamese espresso martinis to Singapore slings and mango and chili margaritas, you'll be spoiled for choice.
2. Kelvingrove Cafe
Established in 1896, the Kelvingrove Cafe is one of the oldest bars in Glasgow, offering up traditional cocktails from martinis to bellinis and old fashions.
3. The Gardner
Dazzling in leafy decor, The Gardner's cocktail menu offers up botanical-inspired drinks with a menu of fresh, seasonal plates that you can enjoy with friends or family at any time of the day.
4. Ubiquitous Chip
A family favourite and crowned the city's most Instagrammable bar, the Ubiquitous Chip has a menu bursting with signature cocktails that can be enjoyed from a rooftop terrace or inside the pub.
5. Brel
Brel is an ideal spot for a party group or for a catch-up with a friend. Tucked up on Ashton Lane, it boasts a huge beer garden with a covered and heated patio area and firepits for larger bookings.
6. Porter and Rye
For something a bit more luxurious, Porter and Rye's mixologists can offer up cocktails to cater to the discerning tastes of their clientele.
The menu includes rich whiskey and sleek gin-based cocktails.
7. Banana Moon
And finally, for something a bit more laid back, Great Western Road's Banana Moon is a stylish and electrical setting with a menu full of creative options.
Customers can enjoy drinks that vary from coconut mojitos, panther milk and bloody marys.
