A TEENAGER was arrested after allegedly invading the set of the new Indiana Jones set, which is filming in Glasgow. 

The 17-year-old was seen being huckled by two police officers, aided by a set security guard in Renfield Street yesterday afternoon.

Glasgow Times:

An eyewitness said: "Someone didn't get far trying to storm the set today."

An extra playing a New York City cop was pictured looking on in the background.

The street was closed for filming and to preserve detailed sets which have been put up in the city, transforming Glasgow in a replica of 1969 New York for the new Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas and Phoebe Waller-Bridge-starring flick. 

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers in Glasgow arrested a 17-year-old teenage boy following a disturbance on Renfield Street around 3.20pm on Saturday, July 17.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
