TWO men have been arrested and charged over allegedly trying to kill a man in a flat.
A man was sent to the Glasgow Royal Infimary with serious injuries after the "murder bid".
We reported previously how police locked down the scene in Paisley Road, Renfrew on Monday at around 2.30pm.
The pair, aged aged 39 and 38, are due in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
A police spokesman said: "Two men, aged 39 and 38, have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder at a property on Paisley Road in Renfrew.
“The incident happened around 2.30pm on Monday, July 19, 2021. A 38-year-old man suffered serious injuries during the incident.
“Both are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday, July 21.”
