A TRAILER carrying rolls of turf flipped over on a busy motorway, sparking chaos for commuters.
The spill took place on the eastbound carriage of the M8 close to Glasgow Airport earlier today.

RTC on the M8 eastbound at J27. Lanes 1 & 2 of 3 are closed as is the off slip due to an overturned trailer and debris on the carriageway. Traffic queuing back to J30. Delays approx 40 mins.

Drivers are being warned o delays of up to 40 minutes by Traffic Scotland.
A picture at the scene shows a huge pile of rolled up grass on the road.
Police are on the scene and have been approached for comment.
It is not thought anyone was injured.
