Nominations have now opened for the third annual Women Better Glasgow awards.
The ceremony celebrates five women in the city "from different walks of life who help make Glasgow shine."
The Women Better Glasgow awards, now in its third year, launched in 2016 and has recognised the efforts of inspirational women such as Commonwealth Games judo champion, Louise Renicks, and Founder of the Scottish Iraqi Society, Faten Hameed.
A spokesperson for Oceanic Beauty & Hair, who support the event, said: “We wanted to do this in a way which we felt would not only celebrate their achievements but also raise awareness of the difficulties many women face in their daily lives.”
The winner will be announced next month, with a ceremony handing out awards taking place in late August.
