A MAN was taken to hospital after being injured in Glasgow city centre.
The 31-year-old was hurt at a construction site near the junction of Argyle Street and York Street on Tuesday night.
Police were made aware at around 9pm.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
Cops say the Health and Safety Executive has been made aware.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were made aware of a 31-year-old man injured on a construction site near the junction of Argyle Street and York Street in Glasgow around 9pm on Tuesday, July 20.
“The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The Health and Safety Executive has been made aware.”
