PLANNING permission has been submitted to build blocks of flats at the site of a former church in Glasgow's South Side.
The Mosspark United Church, at Ladybank Drive, in Bellahouston, has been closed since 2019.
Southside Housing Association has now asked to build an affordable housing development at the site near Mosspark Boulevard, for social rent.
It hopes to erect 35 homes, with parking and private outdoor space for tenants.
The properties will include a mix of one, two and three-bed flats, including adaptable standard accommodation.
The plans will be considered by Glasgow City Council
Last year, we reported that the housing association launched their initial plans.

Southside Housing Association launched a consultation within the community, including with Craigton Community Council, regarding these plans.
Donna Reilly, head of development at the group, previously said: “Southside Housing Association is delighted to be given the opportunity to meet local housing need with a proposal to develop a project of 35 new homes on the United Reform Church site.
“The association will continue to develop the proposals in consultation with Craigton Community Council.”
