A DRIVER has been arrested in connection with alleged offences following a 'police pursuit' in Bothwell.
Road Policing Scotland confirmed that a vehicle was "pursued" by Lanarkshire road police in the area yesterday evening.
The driver allegedly took to his feet but was found by Police Scotland's dogs.

He was arrested in connection with alleged offences including disqualified driving, drug and dangerous driving.
In a statement on Twitter Road Policing Scotland said: "This vehicle was pursued by #LanarkshireRP in Bothwell earlier tonight.
"Driver took to his feet but was located by our @polscotdogs in 🌲🐕🌲.
"Arrested for offences including disqualified driving, drug and dangerous driving."
