Inspector Roland Fabiani, Police Scotland, said: "Linda doesn't venture out much and if she does it's usually to the local shops on Great Western Road or in the local area.
"So far we have established that she left home this morning 7 o'clock leaving the house insecure.
"We don't believe she has her phone or any money with her.
"Officers have been searching for her locally and speaking to family, friends, and neighbours but no one has seen or heard from her so far today.
"We would ask people to keep a look out for her, maybe checking their back courts or gardens.
"Anyone who has seen her or who could assist officers with their search is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference number 1418 of Saturday, July 24, 2021."
