A DRINK spot has opened its very first Scottish store in a Glasgow shopping centre.

Bubble CiTea, which offers fresh fruit tea, milk tea and crushed ice drinks, served its first customers at Silverburn Shopping Centre on Saturday.

The new kiosk is located mid-mall outside New Look, and has created a number of local jobs.

Glasgow Times:

The bubble tea is freshly prepared by hand and can be customised to your preference, from tea base, through flavour and sugar level to popping bubbles choices.

Suneet Sachdeva, Bubble CiTea CEO, said: “I'm so happy to introduce our award-winning Bubble Tea and renowned customer service to the residents of Glasgow and beyond.

"The team at Bubble CiTea put every effort into ensuring an amazing customer experience and we look forward to the visitors at Silverburn enjoying our Bubble Teas."

Mr Sachdeva discovered bubble tea (the refreshing Taiwanese beverage) whilst travelling around Asia and Australia.
