Glasgow Times:

Last year, the newspaper championed those who went that extra mile for others during the coronavirus pandemic from the taxi drivers who kept the city moving to the nurses on the frontline caring for those battling Covid-19. We then printed all their names on the front to say thank you and this front page has now been nominated for an award.

Our Give our OAPs a Shot will also compete in the Campaign of the Year category at the Regional Press Awards. Headed up by our senior reporter Maxine McArthur, the Glasgow Times called on health boards across Scotland to end delays for the vital flu jab and ensure the most vulnerable were vaccinated immediately. The campaign was also nominated at the Scottish Press Awards.
