You might have had to put your summer holiday on hold this year, but why not take your tastebuds for a trip to Italy with the new six course ‘Amalfi Coast’ tasting menu brought to you by renowned Chef Nico Simeone.
You’ll be able to experience the menu from August 9 at Six by Nico restaurants where the team invite you to ‘eat your way through the region’s most popular neighbourhoods.'

Chef Nico, who was born in Glasgow to Italian parents, said:” "Italy’s Amalfi Coast offers a variety of interesting culinary delights and natural treasures.
“With our latest menu, we invite our guests to discover one of the world’s most prestigious culinary landscapes with a menu that celebrates the delicacies of Italy’s stunning Amalfi Coast".

The Amalfi coast is known for being ‘rich in seafood, pasture-raised meats and cultivated vegetables’ meaning diners can expect to enjoy authentic regional dishes like ‘Parmesan Polenta' with 'Globe Artichoke, Girolle Mushroom & Lardo Di Colonnata’ or 'Spaghetti Vongole' with 'Squid Ink Spaghetti, Clam, Mussel, Chilli, Garlic, Shellfish Espuma & Herb Powder.'

The meal wouldn’t be complete without a strong hit of Amalfi lemon which is showcased in a dessert course of ‘Delizia al Limone’ which is a ‘Lemon Mousseline with Almond Sponge, Caramelised White Chocolate, Yoghurt and Meringue.’

The 'Amalfi Coast' menu will run from August 9 to September 19 at Six by Nico Glasgow Finnieston, Glasgow Southside, Edinburgh City Centre, Manchester City Centre, Liverpool City Centre, Belfast Cathedral Quarter and London Fitzrovia.
